Introduction
In this third part, I've organized the character settings of each member as well as the boost items / special abilities / design backgrounds assigned to them.
Unlike the second part, which focused on technical aspects, this article centers around fan sentiment + world-building.
The most prolonged contemplation while creating MAME RUN!! was regarding these character settings.
It's not just simple game data,
“How can I express each member in the most lovable way?”
this perspective guided the setup.

Why 'Mysterious Party' Costume?
The costumes of the members currently featured in the game are from the Mysterious Party (ミステリアスパーティー).
This outfit is a slightly modified version of the new song 「りロード」 costume released along with Hanané Monster's return in January 2025, and I recall that they only wore it for about three months in real activities.
The reason for selecting this outfit among the many historical costumes is simple.
It's my favorite outfit, and I believe it's the Best of Best among the Mameshiba costumes.
Additionally, personally, I wanted to select from the outfits used after Hanané's return.
The current 'Best Album costume' is cute, but,
it feels too much like a mix of various eras, leading to a “bibimbap-like costume” feeling in Korean terms.
On the other hand, the Mysterious Party outfit:

displays the member's color and ribbon in a balanced manner

features a long skirt and black accents that are very chic

combines cuteness and elegance
It's really a well-crafted costume.
I'm so regretful that it was worn for such a short period,
“Then let's at least preserve it permanently in the game.”
So, it was adopted as MAME RUN!!'s costume.
■ Leona – The Embodiment of 'Mobility × Stability'
Leona's ability stats were confirmed fastest among the members.
In Leona's “likes list” that I saw somewhere,
徳島 and white rice were written, and that struck me.
“She is truly a unique and charming idol.”
Thus, Leona's boost item was immediately decided as
“Tokushima rice.”
● Special Ability: Agility
She is the only member who has never missed a live show throughout 2025.
Strong stamina and perfect performance ability.
These real-life characteristics naturally carried over into her ability stats.
Starting from Stage 3, when obtaining a boost,
she will gain the ability to land immediately and readjust direction even in mid-air.
It's a survival buff possible because it's Leona.
■ Naoh – 'Babaroa Punch' Triggered by Ramen
Naoh undeniably represents ramen.
A combination that needs no explanation, symbolic of Mameshiba.
● Boost Effect: Babaroa Punch
After Stage 3, eating ramen will trigger the Babaroa Punch that can smash through obstacles for a while.
This idea was inspired by the punch choreography shown in the recent SE dance.
There's no reason not to include it in the game.
■ Aika – Character with Erratic Charm Settings
Aika's settings were the most difficult to determine.
She has many likes, carries a lot of items,
is energetic, messy, cute, and lively…
That “messiness” itself is Aika's charm.
In the end, the boost item was decided as the strong image of the Haribo doll that she always carries.
● Boost Effect: Tapioca Kick
Upon acquiring Haribo,
for a limited time, she can destroy obstacles with a Tapioca Kick.
In fact, this Tapioca Kick was originally a technique prepared for Hanané.
However, since Hanané needed the unique ability of 'resurrection,' it was assigned to Aika.
And
Naoh = Babaroa Punch
Aika = Tapioca Kick
This combo structure fits perfectly for two individuals who are like
“the witnesses of Mameshiba.”
■ Hanané – The Character with the Absolute Identity of 'Resurrection'
Hanané is a character that reveals her identity at once in every aspect.

Strong personality

Glamorous story
-
Distinctive character traits

Symbolism of being a Demo-Dori member
All of this was directly reflected in her game stats.
● Boost Effect: Life +1 (Resurrection)
Upon eating the Ukulele item, she immediately activates Life +1
that is, resurrection.
This perfectly aligns with Hanané's character trait of being able to come back to life.
The initial setup card labeled as “Venom attribute” was simply because Hanané's color is green.
However, I would like to deeply utilize this Venom setting should I create an RPG type Mameshiba game in the future.
■ Momochi – Elevating the Reality of 'Nurse' to Stats
Momochi is uniquely the only member of Mameshiba with an MBTI type E.
Bright, warm, loves talking, and enjoys being around people.
Many fans feel that she is “a member who warms your heart just by looking at her.”
And since her real-world job is that of a nurse, it made it easy to decide her abilities.
● Boost Effect: NURSE SHOT
Upon eating the syringe item,
she becomes completely immune to Kuro-chan's 'Poison Fog' starting from Stage 2.
This was the setup that suited Momochi best.

■ Conclusion – Expressing Loving Feelings through 'Game Design'
The character settings of MAME RUN!! are not merely functional for the game but
“How lovingly can each member be made?”
is the perspective that guided the composition.
If someone playing this game feels

“This character is so cute!”

“The stats match this member perfectly!”
-
“I want to play with this member!”
that alone would be enough for me.
And someday, truly someday…
If they could see this through their own eyes —
there would be no greater joy.
I hope the Mameshiba legion becomes known to more people and
I look forward to the day they perform at the Tokyo Dome.
