On January 8, 2024, Mameshiba no Taigun (豆柴の大群) experienced a moment to write a new chapter in their history. A documentary video capturing the intense preparation process over the past two months was released yesterday on the official Mameshiba no Taigun YouTube channel . This video vividly showcases the return of the member “Hanae Monster” and the journey back to the group's original name.
Hanae's Return and Name Change
The video begins with the scene in November 2024, where producer Kuro-chan decides to revert the group's name from "豆柴の大群都内某所 a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL" back to their original name “豆柴の大群.” The name change was not just a simple symbol, but it represented a restoration of the group's identity and a pledge for a new beginning. The 5-member Mameshiba no Taigun, with Hanae returning, officially announced their activities on January 8, 2025, during TBS's “Wednesday Downtown.”
Two Months of Preparation
The video closely documents the hectic two-month process involving new song production, recording, costume making, dance rehearsals, and the filming of the music video for the new song “りロード.” The team's passion and efforts to complete all these preparations in such a short time were palpable. Through this documentary, fans were able to glimpse their sweat and efforts, and expressed deep gratitude to producer Kuro-chan and WACK for creating and sharing this record.
Kuro-chan's Passion and Leadership
Kuro-chan, often seen on TV shows with a comical and unlikable image, was completely different in this documentary. As a producer, he treated the members with care while passionately leading the team. His sincere attitude and professional handling of tasks were truly impressive. Furthermore, his close relationships with the members contrasted sharply with the previous producer, President Watanabe's era. Building a trust-based relationship with the members is a significant advantage for Kuro-chan and the key to the team's success.
The Impact of Hanae's Return
Hanae's return brought significant changes to the team. Member Momochi expressed in an interview that “the best part is being able to hear Hanae's voice again,” conveying his emotions. His statement about being moved by Hanae's voice in the new song “りロード” resonated deeply with fans.
Additionally, Hanae herself stated in an interview, “I am thankful that the members treat me the same way as before, but I am trying not to get used to it.” She was making efforts to meet Kuro-chan's expectations for a positive change in the team. Hanae's attitude calms the team's maturity and raises further expectations for their future.
Looking Forward
We hope Hanae continues to bring positive changes to the team. I want to see Mameshiba no Taigun grow with Kuro-chan and someday perform live at Tokyo Dome. This documentary deeply moved me with the team's and members' efforts, along with the producer's passion. I will continue to support their journey and look forward to even greater success.
All the best to Mameshiba no Taigun and Hanae!
